The Details Matter

Care Instructions

Each Marian Paquette handbag is handmade in California using a variety of textiles sourced from France, Italy, and Morocco. Due to the nature of these materials, each piece should be handled with care and stored thoughtfully between wears.

01
Cleaning

Specialty Dry Cleaning Only

If cleaning is necessary, specialty dry cleaning is recommended. Please inform your dry cleaner that no steaming should be applied. The heat and moisture from steam can damage delicate textiles and alter the structure of the bag.

02
Storage

Store with Stuffing

To preserve the shape of your bag, store it stuffed with its original paper or tissue. This prevents the frame from warping and the fabric from creasing over time. Avoid storing the bag under heavy objects or in a compressed space.

03
Protection

Always Use the Dust Bag

When not in use, keep your bag in its dust bag. This protects the fabric from light exposure, dust, and contact with other surfaces. A dust bag is the simplest way to extend the life of your piece significantly.

04
General Care

Handle with Intention

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can fade certain textiles over time. Keep away from moisture and sharp surfaces. Each bag is built to last and will reward thoughtful care for years to come.
